Day 1. Arrive Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. 8 hours/480km

On arrival in Bishkek, the bustling capital of Kyrgyzstan, you will be met and transferredto Karakol. Today your adventure takes you along the North shore of LAKE ISSYK-KUL to KARAKOL, via 11th-century BURANA TOWER, and ancient Silk Route staging post, and the prehistoric PETROGLYPHS at Chopon-Ata. Lunch in café or roadside yurt (the Kyrgyz equivalent of motorway service stations) is included. After lunch you will be transferred to the jetty, where a pleasure boat will be waiting to take you on a 2 hour cruise along the Issyk-Kul Lakeshore. Overnight at our Yurt Camp Arista in the center of Karakol Town upon arrival.

Day 2 - Start of horse trekking

Transfer by car to Djety Oguz valley. Meet with the team with horses and start the trekking. Walk till Irdyk. Camp (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3 - Karakol valley

Today you will go down to Karakol valley. Camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 4 - Kok Jar pass

Ascent to Kok Jar pass 3600m. After descent till 3400m.

Day 5 - Altyn Arashan

Ascent to Altyn Arashan. The resort at Altyn-Arashan is famous for its HOT SULPHUR SPRINGS. Your evening is at leisure for taking bath in this lovely spot. Overnight in camp.(incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 6 - Ala Kul lake

Trek with horses under Ala Kul lake. This lake is famous for its eerie, ever-changing colour and for being situated at an altitude of 3500m above sea level. Everybody finds the spectacle of this miracle of nature absolutely unforgettable. If you just here for the first time, we guarantee that you will fall in love with Ala-Kul and its surroundings. The color of the lake surface changes from greeny-blue to violet every hour depending on weather conditions. Lunch on the lake shore. Further you will ascent on the Ala-Kul pass (3860 m). The short, flat summit makes a good vantage point for picking out Terskey Ala-Too's highest peaks: KARAKOL (5281m), DJIGIT (5170m) and OGUZ-BASHI PEAKS (5168m). The ridge that these peaks creates runs across the horizon from west to east. Descent back to camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7 - Takyr Tor

Today you will descent to Altyn Arashan river and ascent to Takyr Tor. You will see waterfalls, hot springs. Camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 - Trek under Palatka peak

You go down to the valley, and trek under Palatka peak. Camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 9 - Tashtektir

Radial track to Tashtektir. Back to camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10 - Altyn Arashan

Descent to Altyn Arashan. Rest of the day rest. Today the afternoon will be at leisure for your own exploration of Altyn-Arashan and for a second visit to the hot spring baths. Camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 11 - Ashu Tor pass

Ascent to Ashu Tor pass and descent to Almaly valley. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 12 - Waterfall

Ascent to waterfall and go down along the valley. Camp. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 13 - Karakol

This afternoon you will descend to the village of AK-SUU. On the way you will cross one more pass of less than 2500m but by this time the altitude is almost unnoticeable. This pass forms the border between two valleys - ARASHAN and AK-SUU. Another, less remote and more commercial resortis located in AK-SUU valley. The Ak-Suu hot baths may be similar to those at Altyn-Arashan but you will find yourself competing for a soak with tens of day-trippers! Transfer back to Karakol, where your tour finishes with plenty of breathtaking memories to take home. Accommodation in yurt in Yurt Camp Turkestan. Have a rest till 06:00 Pm. After Transfer to Bishkek, Airport. (incl: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 14 - Bishkek 7hours/410km

Today you must bid farewell to this isolated corner of Eastern Kyrgyzstan. A comfortable car or private minibus (depending on group size) will be waiting to bring you back to Bishkek. This time you will be driven along Issyk Kul’s wild Southern Shores, completing your circumnavigation of the second largest alpine lake in the world. The road hugs the water’s edge and winds through remote Kyrgyz villages of wooden chocolate-box cottages, against an arresting backdrop of the majestic Central Tien Shan Mountains. After a short stop in Balykchi for lunch your journey will continue via Boom Gorge with time to stop and take photographs. On arrival in Bishkek you will be accommodated in guest house/Hotel for your last overnight in Kyrgyzstan.

Day 15 - Departure home. 2hours/30km

Airport transfer you will depart for home, taking with you many spectacular memories of your visit to Issyk-Kul region and mighty mountains of Kyrgyz Republic.
