Description
Day 1 "Orphan Shelter"
From Karakol on the car we ascent in one of the most picturesque gorges of Terskey Ala - Too ridge, the gorge Karakol. We reach to a field (2450 m) where was earlier alpinist camp. Our way lies to the east in the gorge Kurgaktor. Ascending is very beautiful, a track goes through the forest. We will reach a small lake on the way. «Orphan Shelter» locates in 200 meters from this lake. Camp
Day 2 Under the pass Takyr-Tor
By the good track lying on the left river bank we ascent to "mutton foreheads", behind them there is a lake Ala-Kul. Ascending goes on mutton foreheads on a small talus. As soon as we rise on the pass, there are beautiful view opens on the Ala Kul lake (The colorful lake). Here on the convenient platform we set the camp.
Day 3 Takyrtor Pass (1B, 4040)
On a glacier of Takyr-Tor we ascent via a saddle of the pass. Further we go down from the pass in the Takyrtor gorge. Descending lies by a wild hot spring which beats directly from the rock.
Day 4 Altyn Arashan valley
We go down to the hot springs in Altyn Arashan. This evening is to relax in hot springs after long and difficult journey!
Day 5 Karakol Town
By the good road we go down to one of the most beautiful gorges to Ak Suu valley. From Teplokluchenka village the car will get us back to the yurt camp «Arista».
